Hand-stitched, leather bound volume with hand-tooled leather spine.  The book is made by Alfred Jubb & Son Ltd, Albany Printing Works, St John's Rd, Huddersfield.  There is an Alfred Jubb re-ordering label attached to the inside front cover.  This is the wages book for an unknown manufacturer c 1907-1914.  Spinners, Twisters, Warpers, Menders, Feeders and Dyers are among the occupations of the worker mentioned in eg 1909.  The open book image features wages paid to staff in May 1911.

A record of trading of Cook & Dyson 1863-1876. The inside cover shows humorous items affixed to the inside cover and an incomplete book alphabetically ordered suggesting that pages pertaining to A, B, C, D, E and F were removed. The financial records are dated 1863 and include a note comparing the costs of hay and the value of horses, carts and wagons with the diesel carriers in 1903.
