The Men's Leather Travel Case is made of brown leather, possibly snake skin, with a cream soft lining and closes with press studs.  The outer case measures 42cm by 26cm.  The case has a soft collar container in a printed leather pattern which measures 24cm by 10 cm.  The soft collar container is labelled in gold script 'Soft Collars' and is fasted with a tab containing a press stud.  There are 2 channels for collars on the inside of this smaller case.

The stud box is made out of wood and has the word 'Studs' on the lid in a brown script.  The box is 9cm in diameter and is 5cm deep.  The design features 3 internal trays.

There are 5 white collars, all of the same size, housed in a circular brown leather case.  It is believed that they may have belonged to the same individual as they are all the same size.

The collars are white and of different sizes.  They are housed in a cardboard box with black lettering saying 'C Ltd' and 'A Unique Collar Service'.  This is believed to be the Collars Ltd company.  The V & A also have similar collars which they have ascribed to the 1960s.  We do not believe that the box belonged to a private individual or there would be no need to have differing sizes.  Perhaps it was a salesman's display item.  The items were donated to the museum by Mrs Pollard of Salendine Nook.

The mens ankle length black ankle boots are leather with textile inserts around the ankle.  The boots have a square toe and a low block heel.  The lining is a bright blue textile material.

This pair of Mens Dress shoes are made from black and white leather.  The leather (both colours) is particularly soft and we suspect they were used for dancing.  The pointed toe is black with a band of white leather bordered by 2 strips of punched black leather.  There are 5 eyelets for the laces each side.  The shoes are lined with black leather.  The sole is brown leather embossed with a logo - Combined - Fit, Style, Value.

The Mens light tan brogues have a rounded toe and are stitched with a contrasting cream stitching joining the upper to the sole.  There are 5 eyelets punched to allow the laces to fasten up the shoe.  The inner sole is marked with gold lettering 'Beaumont & Greenwood 130 Town End Golcar'.

This pair of mens black boots were obviously for 'best wear' as they are in excellent condition.  They are made of leather with leather soles.  They have a blocked heel which is higher than mens boots of today.  The toe is square in shape and is decorated with a double row of stitching.  There are 9 lace holes and a tab at the back of the heel to help the wearer put them on.
