The museum also had a stall on the car park in the centre of the village. Thanks to the generosity of visitors, we raised more money for the museum.
There were literally hundreds and hundred of folk who visited the museum on Golcar Lily Day. Volunteers showed them what life was like for the original inhabitants of the cottages and demonstrated various crafts. The delicious smells of Lily Day loaves permeated the museum and many brought loaves to take away.
