The museum hosted a Handmade Christmas Market over the weekend.  Visitors had the opportunity to buy a wide variety of handmade gifts for Christmas.  For the first time, the Museum Craft Group took a stall and raised over £400 for museum funds.  Well done everybody and thank you all for your support.

Stirring the Christmas pudding was a done by the family. The pudding was stirred from East to West with reflecting the journey of the Magi and was also thought to bring luck.

Our annual cloth sale was popular as always.  Visitors had the opportunity to buy lengths of a variety of different sorts of cloth.  After their purchases, they enjoyed tea and homemade cake in the tearoom.
