Colne Valley Museum is a charity run entirely by volunteers. The museum simply wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for members of the wider community who give some of their time.
Helping with scone bake day
We always need more volunteers so if you have a few hours a month/week/occasionally to spare, there is a wide variety of tasks, ranging from stewarding, helping in the shop/cafe...
Showing the school children a Victorian wash day
... school visits, publicity/marketing, craft demonstrating (we can teach you), maintenance, cooking, looking after our archive collection - we really do have something for everyone.

Our volunteers get together on a regular basis to catch up over a coffee and discuss new ideas--the next meeting is on Friday August 8th at 7.30pm, at the museum.
