Stepping back In Time. Amazing display of footwear – including items from the collection of Shaw and Hallas, a long established local retailer.

Colne Valley Art Society Annual Exhibition A superb display of local talent, with many items for sale as well as the usual 'Bargain Corner.'
June 6th --August 2nd.
Discover Your Family History by Huddersfield and District Family History Society. Discover who lived at Cliffe Ash.
August 8th--September 27th.
Marsden Past Part of the NEW exhibition of Marsden history by Marsden History Group with WEA.
October 10th--November 22nd.
Traditional Drinking 'Oils. An exhibition of paintings of ale houses past and present by well known local artist Tony Haigh.

Demonstration of havercake (oatcake) making in our Victorian kitchen.
Sunday only: Meet the Havercake Lads! (33rd Regiment of Foot re-enactment group.)

Heritage Open Days event.
Scone baking demonstration in our Victorian kitchen. Fresh-baked scones served with jam and cream in our 'twenties-style' tea-rooms upstairs.

CRAFT WEEKEND
The museum comes alive! Lots of traditional craft demonstrations throughout the day including bread-baking, rag-rugging, lace-making, spinning, weaving and clog-making--early opening at 12.30pm both days.

Family fun and entertainment from Clive Harbottle and his friends.

Parkin Bake
Traditional Yorkshire parkin made in our Victorian kitchen--just in time for Plot Neet!

Stir-Up Sunday
Help Mrs. Sykes make her Christmas puddings in the Victorian kitchen and learn about other Christmas traditions.

CORN DOLLIES!
From 4th September 2010 to 4th September 2010
The art of corn plaiting will be demonstrated to visitors along with an exhibition of corn dollies and other favours. Visitors wishing to learn this traditional craft will have the opportunity to have a go!
