"Tea for Two" Heritage Open Days event.
From 13th September 2008 to 14th September 2008
Scone baking demonstration in our Victorian kitchen and a chance to eat some, freshly made, with jam and cream in our cafe upstairs. Sponsored by Yorkshire Tea.
Free admission.
Craft and Working Weekend
From 4th October 2008 to 5th October 2008
The museum comes alive! Our bread baking team will be hard at work in the Victorian kitchen (why not buy some to take home for tea?), while throughout the rest of the museum traditional crafts will be demonstrated throughout the day, including spinning, weaving, rag-rugging, clogging, and lace-making.
Open at 12.30 both days.
"Hallowe'en Magic Weekend"

Ever popular Clyde Harbottle and friends return to perform close up magic for children (and parents--if they are good!)
Parkin Bake
From 1st November 2008 to 2nd November 2008
Come and see traditional Yorkshire Parkin baked in our Victorian kitchen, and perhaps buy some to take home--just in time for Plot Neet!
Christmas Fair

Our traditional Christmas Fair with lots of games and gifts, fun for all the family. Mince pies and Father Christmas too! Also next weekend December 6th & 7th.
Stir-Up Sunday

Mrs. Sykes is very busy in her kitchen stirring up her delicious traditional Christmas puddings--come and give her a hand, and perhaps buy one for yourself?
