Rag Rug Day
From 11th February 2012 to 11th February 2012
Come and learn the traditional craft of rug-making.
Booking not required--guidance and materials will be provided free of charge, however, a donation will be greatly appreciated.
HAVERCAKES!
From 18th February 2012 to 19th February 2012
Come and see how traditional Havercakes (oatcakes) were made in our Victorian kitchen and perhaps meet the Havercake Lads (His Majesty's 33rd Regiment of Foot) on Sunday.

Lots of craft demonstrations throughout the museum, including bread making in our Victorian kitchen, plus children's Easter activities.

GOLCAR LILY DAY

Colne Valley Museum joins in Golcar Lily Day! Craft demonstrations in the Museum plus baking of our famous Golcar Lily Loaf in our Victorian kitchen--first come, first served!
Lots of children's 'make-it-and-take-it-home' activities for children.

STRAWBERRY FAIR
From 16th June 2012 to 17th June 2012
Demonstrations of preserving fruits and flowers in the traditional way in our Victorian kitchen. Lots of home made jams and jellies etc for sale.
Victorian Children's Games weekend
From 28th July 2012 to 29th July 2012
Lots of games for all the family including wefties, skipping, quoits, hoops, hopscotch, plus indoor table games: Bagatelle, Ludo, Snakes and Ladders, Happy Families, Snap and Dominoes.
